The integrity of our Intensive Care Unit was generated from the needs and considerations of the families of Beauregard Parish and its surrounding areas. The unit consists of eight patient rooms, each equipped with the most sophisticated, technologically advanced equipment available. This allows our physicians to perform more advanced bedside procedures and provides bedside monitoring capabilities.
Family members are welcome to accompany their loved ones during their stay. We do ask that you please be respectful and honor the privacy restrictions of nurses during shift change and bedside procedures.
All rooms include a sleeper sofa to accommodate family members who wish to stay overnight with patients. Overnight stays will be at the nurse's discretion. Accommodations of a nourishment center, couches, and recliners are also available for visiting family members. Additionally, a private consultation room is provided for physicians and family members to discuss the patient's health status.
