Welcome, New Providers: Hamid Alipour, MD
Board-Certified General Surgeon
Beauregard Health System is pleased to welcome board-certified general surgeon Hamid Alipour, MD, to the Beauregard Physician Group. Dr. Alipour began practicing at Beauregard Health System in late August 2022.
Dr. Alipour specializes in laparoscopy—a surgical technique that uses very small incisions, usually no more than half an inch wide. This technique is used for a variety of operations like colon and small bowel resections, hernia repair, and removing the gallbladder or appendix.
Laparoscopic surgery is just as safe as traditional surgery. Along with smaller incisions and scars, this less invasive approach gets people back into the rhythm of their lives more quickly—and with less pain—than traditional operations.
