Infusion Center: Designed With You in Mind

Beauregard Health System's Infusion Center is newly designed to provide the highest quality of care and comfort to our patients. Our goal is to provide convenient care in a relaxed environment and relieve the burden of travel to patients with short-term and long-term IV medicine needs.

What is infusion therapy?

Patients with a complex disease who cannot take medication orally often must consider infusion therapy. During infusion therapy, medication is introduced to the body through an IV rather than orally.

Cancer is one of these complex diseases. Many people who have it may see more than one cancer doctor, each with a specific area of expertise. These doctors are called oncologists. Medical oncologists are experts in chemotherapy and oversee any hormonal or biological therapies. A medical oncologist may also coordinate a patient's overall cancer care and infusion therapy.

Medical oncologists help people with cancer understand the disease and their treatment options. They also lead the patient's health care team in delivering high-quality, individualized infusion therapy.

Get the care you deserve

Our infusion stations have all been designed to safely meet your needs. Each station is equipped with a strategically placed nursing PPE station, a privacy curtain, a flat-screen television and guest seating. Patients and family members also have access to our wireless internet.
