Visitor Information

Visiting Hours

Patient visiting hours are from 9 a.m.to 9 p.m. Visits in the Special Care units are encouraged and unrestricted but are limited to visitors over the age of 12. Visits in the Maternity Unit are reserved for adult family members. Children should never be left without supervision in the hospital. The safety of our patients and their visitors is of the utmost importance in the Infusion Center. We strongly recommend patients with small children (age 14 and under) to please make child care arrangements.

Smoking Policy

Smoking and the use of tobacco or tobacco products and smoking devices are prohibited on Beauregard Health System's campus and physician office campuses. This includes all areas, whether owned or leased, including parking lots.

Volunteer Services

The hospital Auxiliary is a service organization dedicated to helping the hospital reach its goal of providing "a greater spirit of care." Our volunteers help direct patients and guests to departments throughout the hospital and provide general information to the public.

Television

Each patient's room has a television with cable programming provided at no extra charge. Television controls are next to the call light button. A complete listing of the channels is on the bioscope tablet in each room.

Spiritual Care

A chapel is located on the second floor and may be used anytime for meditation by patients, family members and visitors. Clergy of all denominations are welcome to visit patients who are members of their own congregations.
