The Fall Educational Agenda Features An Expert Faculty Lineup, Depth Of Discussions, And Exposure To Innovation, Evidence-Based Practices, And Techniques.

Tracy Winkley, PT, CWS, CLT, Clinic Coordinator for The Wound Healing Center at Beauregard Health System will share research at the 2024 Fall Symposium on Advanced Wound Care (SAWC), an interdisciplinary educational event focused on the broad spectrum of wound management.

SAWC Fall will be held October 2-5 in Las Vegas, and will incorporate a comprehensive agenda that encompasses wound-care focused topics and content dedicated to amputation prevention. SAWC Fall fosters inclusivity, innovation, and interdisciplinary collaboration through an agenda designed for every clinician, across every practice setting, and is the forum to connect the entire wound care team.

The case study, “Effective Use of Bioactive Glass in the Treatment of Pilonidal Cysts” will be presented at the Symposium on Friday, October 4. Winkley states, “It is an honor and privilege to have this case study selected for presentation at this prestigious international meeting.”
