Nicole Reid, LPN Joins an Elite group of Healthcare Professionals
Nicole Reid, LPN of The Wound Healing Center at Beauregard Health System, recently has been accredited as a Certified Wound Care Associate®. Board certification in wound management is achieved only through a rigorous process by the American Board of Wound Management (ABWM). Certified Wound Specialists are an elite group of healthcare professionals involved in wound management, garnering high respect in the wound care community.
Qualified candidates for certification in wound management are required to have documented experience and continuing education in wound care and achieve a passing score on the examination in order to become certified in wound management through the ABWM and earn the professional designation of Certified Wound Care Associate® (CWCA®).
