Louisiana Society of Medical Staff Services has elected Cynthia LaFitte as President for 2024-2025
Louisiana Society of Medical Staff Services (LSMSS) is an association committed to providing educational and networking opportunities for Medical Staff Service Professionals (MSPS) across the state of Louisiana. LSMSS was chartered as an affiliate of the National Association Medical Staff Services (NAMSS) in 1980. The association is led by a team of volunteer active LSMSS members who are elected to serve on the Executive Board and appointed to ad hoc committees.
Cynthia LaFitte, CPCS, has served on the LSMSS Executive Board since 2020. She was elected to the office of President for 2024–2025.
Cynthia is the Medical Staff Coordinator for Beauregard Health System. She received her certification for CPCS (Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist) through NAMSS in 2018. Her dedication and exceptional leadership qualities have made her an integral part of the LSMSS Executive Board. With her election as President for 2024-2025, Cynthia has proven her mettle as a professional. Her CPCS certification from NAMSS in 2018 is a testament to her commitment to excellence. Cynthia's outstanding work in the healthcare field is truly commendable, and we feel privileged to have her as a team member at Beauregard Health System.
