Beauregard Health System is proud to welcome Dr. Nurilign (Nate) Bulcha, Interventional Cardiologist, to DeRidder and Beauregard Parish.
Dr. Bulcha graduated from Addis Ababa University School of Medicine, followed by his Master of Public Health degree from George Washington University. He completed his residency in internal medicine at Monterfiore Medical Center in Bronx, New York, where he also served as Chief Resident. His cardiovascular training was undertaken at Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania where he completed fellowships in cardiovascular medicine, interventional and structural cardiology.
Dr. Bulcha is board-certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology. He is a member of the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, American College of Physicians, Society for Cardiovascular Angiography and Interventions and Heart Failure Society of America. Dr. Bulcha has provided medical volunteer services in Ethiopia, Tunisia, Haiti and Washington, D.C.
