BEAUREGARD HEALTH SYSTEM WELCOMES ALLISON WALWORTH, DO

“We are excited to announce that Allison Walworth, DO, Internal Medicine physician has joined the Beauregard Physician Group at Beauregard Health System,” said Traci Thibodeaux, Chief Executive Officer.
Dr. Walworth graduated from California State University Fullerton with a major in economics and a minor in english, followed by her Doctor of Osteopathy from Burrell College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her internship and residency program in internal medicine at Medical City Arlington, Texas.
“The principles of osteopathic medicine emphasize treating the patient as a whole, considering not just the symptoms, but also the underlying causes and the impact on overall health,” said Dr. Walworth. Dr. Walworth is an empathetic listener, respectful to all cultures and passionate about her patients and their mental health. “I look forward to helping each patient reach his or her potential,” she continued. “I am proud to join the medical staff at Beauregard Health System.”
“Dr. Walworth’s commitment to osteopathic medicine will serve Beauregard Health System’s partnership as a medical student clinical rotation site with the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) well,” said Edwin Bonilla, MD, Director of Student Medical education for the program. “Our students will certainly thrive under her mentorship.” Dr. Walworth has already been added to the group of BHS physicians overseeing the required medical rotations, and has been appointed as a faculty member with VCOM.
