Beauregard Health System is proud to announce a groundbreaking milestone in advanced wound care: its Wound Healing Center, along with one of its esteemed providers, Dr. Andre Pinac, III, is the first clinic in the nation to implement MiroTract™ by Reprise Biomedical.

This innovative treatment represents a new era in managing complex wounds. MiroTract™ is a three-dimensional porcine liver-derived wound matrix, engineered to deliver a structurally intact collagen scaffold. Its unique design allows for enhanced support in treating deep, tunneling wounds, sinus tracts, and undermining—conditions often resistant to traditional healing methods. The result is faster recovery and significantly improved patient outcomes.

“At Beauregard Health System, we are committed to remaining at the forefront of medical innovation,” said Dr. Pinac. “By incorporating cutting-edge solutions like MiroTract™, we’re able to transform the way chronic and complex wounds are treated, ultimately restoring comfort, mobility, and quality of life for our patients.”

The Wound Healing Center continues to lead the region in advanced wound care by actively integrating emerging technologies, evidence-based protocols, and a multidisciplinary approach to ensure every patient receives the highest standard of care. From state-of-the-art biologics to personalized treatment plans, the Center’s providers and staff are dedicated to delivering exceptional healing and hope to the community.
