BEAUREGARD HEALTH SYSTEM RECEIVES KAPLAN AWARD
Beauregard Health System has been recognized for its outstanding efforts in reducing Low-Value Care, or unnecessary or ineffective procedures, tests, scans, and medications. The Kaplan Award, given to hospitals by the Louisiana Quality Network, was earned by Beauregard Health System for its exceptional achievements in reducing the number of spinal X-rays ordered when a patient is admitted to the ED with uncomplicated low back pain. This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team at Beauregard Health System.
The hospital was awarded two prestigious honors for its efforts. The first award was for being the Most Improved Hospital in the LQN consortium over the 3 years of 2020-2023. The second award was for being the Top Performing Hospital in 2022.
