BEAUREGARD HEALTH SYSTEM NOW RECOGNIZED AS AN OFFICIAL MEDICAID APPLICATION SITE
DeRidder, LA – July 23, 2025 – Beauregard Health System (BHS) proudly announces that it is now officially recognized by the State of Louisiana as a Medicaid Application Site. This designation allows BHS to directly assist patients with applying for Medicaid coverage—an important milestone in the healthcare system’s ongoing mission to provide accessible, quality care to the community.
Through comprehensive state training, Sarah Scott, Financial Counselor at BHS, has earned the certification required to offer this vital service. Her achievement ensures that BHS can now guide patients through the Medicaid application process in a secure, compliant, and compassionate manner.
“Being designated as a Medicaid Application Site means we can better serve our patients by helping them navigate a complex process that can often be overwhelming,” said Sarah Scott.
Patients seeking to apply for Medicaid at BHS must schedule an appointment with Sarah Scott by calling 337-462-8502. Applicants are required to bring proof of income and a valid ID to complete the application process, which must be done in person.
