BEAUREGARD HEALTH SYSTEM HOSTS EDUCATIONAL LUNCH AND LEARN ON STROKE CARE

DeRidder, LA — August 27, 2025 — Beauregard Health System extends its sincere appreciation to guest speakers Dr. Saad Karim, Vascular Neurology, Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center, and Dr. Mohammad Almajali, Interventional Neurology, Ochsner Lafayette General Medical Center, for their engaging and informative presentation, “Stroke Care in the Emergency Department.” We also extend sincere appreciation to Sarah Templet, RN, our LERN Tri-Regional Coordinator (Regions 2/4/5), who was instrumental in facilitating this event.
The Lunch and Learn session highlighted the importance of timely, coordinated care in improving outcomes for stroke patients. Dr. Karim and Dr. Almajali shared expert insights on advancements in stroke diagnosis and treatment, emphasizing how rapid response in the emergency department can save lives and reduce long-term complications.
Beauregard Health System also extends gratitude to the Beauregard Country Club for graciously hosting this event and providing an excellent setting for learning and collaboration.
