BEAUREGARD HEALTH SYSTEM FOUNDATION DONATES OVER $300,000 IN ADVANCED EQUIPMENT AND FURNISHINGS FOR THE COMPREHENSIVE WOMEN'S CENTER, THANKS TO GENEROUS CAPITAL CAMPAIGN DONORS

DeRidder, LA — June 11, 2025 — Beauregard Health System (BHS) proudly announced the successful purchase of advanced Labor and Delivery equipment for the Comprehensive Women’s Center. The upgraded equipment is now in use and will continue to be used in our Labor & Delivery unit once the third-floor ultra-modern Women’s Center officially opens—giving families across Beauregard Parish and surrounding communities access to big-city technology with the warmth of hometown care.

Among the new additions are:

• Draeger Baby Warmers & Draeger Baby Leo Warmers – providing precise thermal regulation for newborns, even in critical situations.
• GE Panda Warmer – integrating resuscitation tools and advanced monitoring at the bedside.
• Avalon Fetal Monitoring Systems – delivering continuous, wireless insight into mother and baby well-being.
• Amico Baby Bassinets, Overbed Tables & Delivery Carts – thoughtfully designed for safety, mobility, and family comfort.
• Infant Bereavement Program resources – offering compassionate support materials so no family grieves alone.

“Every innovation we bring to our Women’s Center is an investment in the health, hope, and future of this community,” said Traci Thibodeaux, CEO. “These purchases translate straight to better outcomes—safer deliveries, stronger starts for newborns, and peace of mind for parents.”

The new equipment enhances care in each of the Labor-Delivery-Recovery-Postpartum (LDRP) suites, allowing mothers to remain in one spacious room throughout their birthing experience. Real-time data from Avalon monitors flows seamlessly to nurses’ stations, while the versatile warmers keep infants in a stable micro-environment from their first breath.
