Beauregard Health System Foundation Board Member Spotlight

Faith Scott is a DeRidder native. She is a graduate of DeRidder High School and Clark College. She was named one of the 2008 Volunteers of the Year by the Greater Beauregard Chamber of Commerce. In June 2009, she was one of the recipients of the SWLA Up & Coming Under 40 Award given by the Times of Southwest Louisiana/Fusion Five. She served as District 2 Councilwoman for the City of DeRidder from 2010-2018. She was the first Keep DeRidder Beautiful Director and served in that role from 2008-2014. She was elected Vice-President of the DeRidder City Council from 2014-2016. In 2016, she was honored by the local Zeta Phi Beta Chapter with the Community Service Award. On National Philanthropy Day in November 2018, she was honored along with other honorees when she was given the Coin Challenge by the Association of Fundraising Professional SWLA Chapter. She remains involved with several organizations in the DeRidder community and Southwest Louisiana. She has an extensive background in administration. She is the Director of the historic first Off-Base USO in America, now known as the War Memorial Civic Center. She is married to Marceliers Scott. They often volunteer as a team. Together, they have four children, and seven grandchildren.
