Veillon Named Chief Financial Officer of Beauregard Health System
Beauregard Health System is pleased to announce that Jarred Veillon has accepted the position of Chief Financial Officer at Beauregard Health System, effective April 3, 2023.
Veillon joined the team at BHS in June of 2021 as the Assistant Vice President of Finance. He was then promoted to the role of Chief Administrative Officer as part of a structured succession plan to step into the Chief Financial role upon the retirement of long-time CFO Darrell L. Kingham. Veillon directly oversees the day-to-day operations of Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Financial Clearance, Business Office, Information Technology, Case Management, Plant Operations, and Materials Management. In his new role, in addition to his current responsibilities, he will be in charge of developing financial strategies, driving revenue optimizations, overseeing cost control plans, and ensuring organizational financial performance. “Jarred has been training and preparing for this role for over a year and a half,” said Traci Thibodeaux, CEO of BHS. “He will do an incredible job of leading the organization in all aspects of key financial performance.”
Veillon holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Accounting from McNeese State University in Lake Charles, Louisiana, and is certified as a Rural Hospital Chief Financial Officer by the National Rural Health Association. Veillon brings 13 years of finance and accounting experience to the table, having served as an internal auditor, financial controller, senior staff accountant, and accounting supervisor at various firms and organizations across Southwest Louisiana.
