Traci Thibodeaux Promoted to Chief Operating Officer

Traci Thibodeaux has been promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer at Beauregard Health System in DeRidder, Louisiana, effective April 29, 2019.
Thibodeaux joined Beauregard Health System as the Vice President of Physician and Support Services in June of 2017. “This promotion recognizes the tremendous contributions that Traci has made since her arrival at BHS nearly two years ago,” said Bud Barrow, Chief Executive Officer. In her new role, Traci will assume responsivity for Nursing in addition to her current responsibilities over BPG, Lab, Radiology, Nutritional Services, EVS and Plant Operations. “Traci has earned the confidence of senior leadership and the Board. I have no doubt that she will do an outstanding job in the expanded role,” Barrow concluded.
Before transitioning to Beauregard Health System, Thibodeaux worked at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional Medical Center in Lafayette, where she served as the Director of Lourdes Physician Group, the Vice President of Lourdes Physician Group and Ambulatory Services, and the Vice President of the Orthopedic/Neurology Service Line. In her assignments at Lourdes, Thibodeaux grew the physician group from 7 providers to 50 providers, implemented a new ambulatory EMR system, oversaw operations for outpatient rehab, inpatient rehab and a 28-bed inpatient ortho-neuro unit. Previous to her position at Lourdes, Thibodeaux was a manager and leader for the Cardiovascular Institute of the South in New Iberia and Morgan City.
Thibodeaux has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology from the University of Louisiana Lafayette, and a Master of Healthcare Administration from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge.
