Beauregard Health System is pleased to announce that Traci Thibodeaux, MHA, CMPE, Chief Executive Officer, has been certified as a Rural Hospital CEO by the National Rural Health Association. This program was developed by the NRHA in conjunction with rural hospital CEOs to ensure that next generation rural hospital CEOs are best prepared for the unique and complex challenges in rural communities. The program focuses on leadership, operations, finance and clinical outcomes.
In a time when rural hospitals and clinics face tremendous challenges and are closing at an unprecedented rate, Beauregard Health System, under Thibodeaux’s leadership, has experienced transformational change. The Health System is on the verge of a monumental expansion, which will include a brand new ‘state-of-the-art’ Emergency Department and a new, ultra-modern Women’s Center. BHS has also recently recruited a number of new providers, expanded its footprint into Vernon Parish, implemented comprehensive cardiovascular services, and has intentional plans for future expansions.
“Traci brings vision and strategic leadership to BHS,” said Charlie Lestage, Board Chair. “This certification is just one more example of her dedication to excellence.”
