State-of-the-Art MRI Now Available at BHS

Beauregard Health System is pleased to announce that new, advanced MRI diagnostic exams are now available for patients. The Siemens Magnetom Aera 1.5T MR system will offer many patient comfort measures, including a shorter and wider tunnel that the patient slides through, allowing for more “head out” exams. The system also has an increased weight capacity greater than our previous machine. The new technology reduces noise associated with scanning and offers quicker scan times for patients, while creating a greatly increased image detail.
