McNabb Accepts Position of Chief Nursing Officer

Kristina (Kie) Strenge-McNabb, MS, RN, CNOR has accepted the position of Chief Nursing Officer at Beauregard Health System in DeRidder, Louisiana, effective November 30, 2020.

McNabb has served as the Director of Surgical Services, Same Day Surgery and The Heart Catheterization Laboratory at BHS since 2012. Providing exceptional leadership over the last eight years, Kie has earned the respect of the medical staff, her peers and associates. “Kie’s proactive approach to team collaboration, quality improvement, staff development and physician relations will serve the Health System extremely well,” said Traci Thibodeaux, Chief Operating Officer.

McNabb brings outstanding experience in leadership roles from large and small facilities such as AdventHealth Orlando and Doctor’s Hospital at Deer Creek, as well as invaluable insight from position held at Arnold Palmer Hospital for Children in Orlando and MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston. “Kie will do an exceptional job providing strategic leadership as the executive responsible for all nursing and other designated functions involving patient care areas,” said Bud Barrow, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Kie is married to Donald McNabb and has one son, Gavin. She is an avid golfer and serves on a number of community boards. “I look forward to having the opportunity to lead such an exceptional clinical team,” said McNabb.
