BHS Welcomes Dr. Jonathon Sossamon
Beauregard Health System is pleased to welcome Jonathon Sossamon, Family Medicine Physician, as the newest member of the medical staff. Dr. Sossamon will begin seeing patients in August.
A native of Lake Charles, Louisiana, Dr. Sossamon attended medical school at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, where he received his Doctor of Medicine degree in December of 2014. Sossamon then completed his residency training in Family Medicine at the East Jefferson General Hospital Family Medicine Residency program in Metairie in June of 2018.
Dr. Sossamon and his wife, Sonia, have two young children and look forward to becoming a part of the Beauregard Parish community. He is committed to excellence in patient care and to working to improve the health and wellbeing of his patients and their families.
