BHS Kicks off Wound Healing Awareness Month (WHAM)
June is recognized as Wound Healing Awareness Month by the American Board of Wound Management. Beauregard Health System is excited to kick off Wound Healing Awareness Month, or #WHAM, to recognize individuals who deal with chronic wounds on a daily basis, whether they experience the wound personally or provide care for someone who does. Additionally, June 13-17th is designated as Certified Wound Care Specialists Week and celebrates all practitioners certified by the American Board of Wound Management.
