Beauregard Health System Welcomes Jim Harvey, DPM
Effective Monday, July 5th, Beauregard Health System is excited to welcome Jim Harvey, DPM to the Beauregard Physician Group. Dr. Harvey has served the Beauregard and Vernon Parish community for over 25 years, providing podiatric care in both Leesville and DeRidder.
Dr. Harvey attended Northwestern State University in Natchitoches, Louisiana, where he acquired a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agribusiness in 1972, a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education (Science) in 1976 and a Master of Science Degree in Education (Administration) in 1985. After working as a Math and Science Department Head internationally for six years and a Community College Vocational Education Instructor and Counselor in the United States for eight years, he received his medical degree from Barry University School of Podiatric Medicine in Miami Shores, Florida in 1993. He then completed his residency at the Miami VA Medical Center in 1995.
Dr. Harvey is Board Certified with the American Board of Foot and Ankle Surgery, while also being a Certified Teacher in Physics, Chemistry and Biology. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons.
