Telephone Services
To reach a local number, you must first dial a "9" to get an outside line. Phone numbers with the following prefixes are not long distance: 462, 463, 460, 328, and 825. Long distance calls are placed by dialing "9" to gain access of an outside line then pressing "0" for a local operator. Operator assistance will be needed to access an alternate long distance carrier. The hospital does not accept collect calls.
To reach a number within the hospital, simply dial "7" plus the last three digit extension. The following is a list of frequently called numbers. if you do not see the number of the department you would like to reach, please call the Switchboard operator "0" for assistance.
